Mr. Barth was an ordained, non-denominational minister who served as Director of Friends of Alcoholics, a Christian alcohol and drug rehabilitation center located in Pocahontas, MS, for 35 years. In 1955 he graduated from Philadelphia Bible Institute (now Philadelphia College of Bible) and then served as Asst. Superintendent of a rescue mission for two and a half years and then became involved in alcohol rehabilitation. He was a charter member of the Christian Addiction Rehabilitation Association and pastored several churches. Richard Barth went to be with the Lord in 1998.
