In 1967, while serving in the United States Marine Corps, Joseph Ascuitto was given a paraphrased copy of the New Testament which marked the true beginning of his spiritual growth. Reading through the New Testament in its entirety, he developed a desire to understand the book of Revelation. This led him to entertain many of the false teachings of the prophecy booksellers, and only through the years of spiritual growth did he come to rightly divide the error of dispensational eschatology.
Joseph served in the U.S. Marine Corps for six years (in active and reserve status) and is presently enjoying his retirement from 35 years of service with the San Diego Fire Department. He is currently married to his wonderful wife of over 36 years, has a married daughter, two grandchildren, and resides in El Cajon, California.
