Founder of Hope Family Ministries in San Diego, Bob Anderson has served as its Executive Director for the past 15 years. Born and raised in California, Bob graduated from college and became a public school teacher in San Jose, California for 11 years. He then entered full-time ministry serving as a youth pastor for five years, a staff pastor for five years, and a senior pastor for five years. He earned his Ph.D. in Biblical Counseling from Trinity Theological Seminary in 1993. That year he founded Hope Family Ministries in San Diego, a ministry of counseling, teaching and missionary outreach.
He presently resides with his wife Priscilla of 39 years in El Cajon, California and has four children and nine grandchildren.
